Calls for service in Chicago area have risen with the temperature

As extreme heat continues to bake the region, air conditioning repair companies are working up a sweat trying to keep up with the hundreds of service calls.
“Some people, unfortunately, don’t realize that with these extreme temperatures, no air conditioner will keep up,” Jensen said. “Anytime it’s over 90 degrees, you can expect your air conditioner to give you no more than 18 to 20 degrees less than outdoor temperature.“
